You might remember that before Christmas I was busy working on a jewelry special order...
Days spent not far apart from beads and pearls.
My tools.
And the Jell-O Man and Wobbly shaker full of Rich Chocolate Ovaltine.
{with ice, of course}
216 dangles {on twenty bracelets} later, I was done!
***warning***
I had pretty much no time for staging photos...I just wanted to finish the order on time.
Do not adjust your monitor.
Yes, my hands are that wrinkly.
*****
You know there had to be Gunmetal bracelets.
Gunmetal with Gunmetal, but mostly my hot color combo of the year, Gunmetal and Amethyst.
I think I'm making those in my sleep now.
I may give that color pairing a rest for a bit....
A short stack of bling.
Prom, anyone?
I make lots of the Silver-lined Crystal sparklers in various numbers of loops {four more since I've been here at Mom's...}, but for some reason, these never get old.
Then some basic black.
With gold pearls.
With white pearls.
And lots of tiny brass balls.
Once I got over my initial drawing a blank on what my customer wanted when she requested "gold" while pointing to "copper", I really had fun with this group.
I don't usually venture down this color path too often, but I sure will more often now.
As a matter of fact, I just went down that road and made another Silver-lined Topaz piece to add to my case.
And perhaps my jewelry Etsy shop sometime in the future....
Another new-to-me color combo in a bracelet set.
Copper-lined Amber.
Copper-lined Crystal.
Several shades of Root Beer.
I like.
She liked.
Here's the whole gold/copper array.
And here is the entire bracelet order.
Quite the handful, huh?
Yup.
Last {but certainly not least} is the necklace.
While all the bracelets were to be given as gifts, my customer ordered this necklace to keep for herself.
She wanted something in basic black.
Something that she could wear with most anything.
I went with Black facet beads, cool Antiqued Brass rounds and funky Brown Iris spacers.
I think that worked.
~~~~~
Whew.
I was glad to get that done.
Next?
These are amazing, Miss Pam. What an incredible amount of work you must have put into each one of these beautiful pieces of jewelry. Plus the flu?? Glad you are feeling better!
Wow! Your fingers and eyes must be thanking you now that you're finished with that huge order. They are truly gorgeous! I love the different color combinations you tried out. There will be some very happy ladies sporting their gorgeous Pam Q originals.
